What are your operating hours?

We are opened Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST with the exception of the following:

How do I update my address or contact information with Chalcedon?

We appreciate all contact information updates. You can send us new address and contact information by emailing us at info@chalcedon.edu above or call us at 209-736-4365.

Address and contact information will not be updated within the site until you place a new order or donation. The contact information within our site is stored on a secure card processing server and is not accessable. Only customers placing orders or donations can update the information.

Do you sell eBooks?

Yes! We are now selling some of our titles in Kindle, Epub, and PDF formats which can be found in the Chalcedon Store. We are constantly working on our books and they will become available at the Chalcedon Store as they are finished.

After puchasing your ebook, you will find the downloadable file in your Download Dashboard.

Enclosed in the downloadable zip file you will find 3 formats of your ebook (PDF, MOBI, EPUB).

  • PDF File: Your pdf file can be uploaded to your Kindle, Nook, or iPad by connecting your device to your computer. You can also email your pdf file to yourself and download it from your email on your device.
  • MOBI File: A mobi file will only work on a Kindle or with the Kindle app.
  • Epub File: An epub file will work on an iPod, iPhone, iPad, Nook, and many other devices.

Also in your zip file you will find a Ebook Instruction Text file to help you with your download. If you have any further questions feel free to email us at support@chalcedon.edu.

You can also purchase the Kindle version at Chalcedon's Amazon Ebook Store. You can get these even if you do not have a Kindle but downloading the Kindle app to your iPad, or computer. (See Below for Recent Releases)

Why does it take so long to publish an ebook?

The delay in our ebooks is due mostly to the footnotes in each book. These do not convert easily into Kindle or even Epub so each book has to be re-typeset, moving all footnotes to the end of each book and structuring the books for the Kindle customizations in the process. Since we are a small group, this creates a lot of work for very few people. We are continually adding more books to our Kindle library. You can view all the current books at the Store link above or at Chalcedon's Kindle Store on Amazon.

You can view all new released Kindle ebooks on the front page of our store. We also announce all Kindle releases on our Facebook Page.

I'm having trouble logging into to the website.

Have you been to our new site? If this is the first time you've come to the NEW Chalcedon site you will have to resign up. Your subscription with us is still active but we were unable to move the old online accounts to the new site.

If you have been to this site before and should have an account please remember your login is your email address. You can also try resetting your password. If you continue to have a problem, please email us at support@chalcedon.edu (or call) and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Are Donations or Underwriter Pledges to Chalcedon tax deductible?

Yes, all donations and Underwriter Pledges to Chalcedon are tax deductible. You should receive a receipt of donation from our offices after your donation is placed. We also send end of the year reports for tax purposes.

How do I place a donation on the Chalcedon site?

Log onto the website and go to DONATE. You can place a donation or sign up as one of our Underwriters. You can have an amount taken out monthly or you can make a one time payment. Signing up for Underwriter pledges will set up reoccurring monthly or yearly debits.

If you are already signed up as an Underwriter and would like to place an additional donation, please use the Online Donation option under Donate. All donations contributed by an Underwriter will be recorded as such.

How can I donate through your site as an Underwriter without setting up a reoccurring transaction?

You can go to the Online Donation section of our site. Here you can put in the amount you would like to donate. Please choose the one time donation option (even if it shows up automatically to ensure it is charged only the one time).

  • Bronze: $25-$49 ($300-$599 for entire year)
  • Silver: $50-$99 ($600-$1199 for entire year)
  • Gold: $100+ ($1200+ for entire year)

You can then add this to your cart and check out.

You can let us know you wish to be an Underwriter (or that your donations are for your Underwriter Pledge) by emailing us using the at info@chalcedon.edu. After your initial email and donation, all future donations will be viewed as part of your Underwriter Pledge.

How can I set up a reoccurring donation for more than one of the alloted Underwriter amounts?

Instead of choosing one of the Underwriter Pledge options which only allow you to give $25, $50 or $100 go to the Online Donation Section and set up a reoccurring monthly donation of an amount of your choosing.

  • Bronze: $25-$49 ($300-$599 for entire year)
  • Silver: $50-$99 ($600-$1199 for entire year)
  • Gold: $100+ ($1200+ for entire year)

You can then add this to your cart and check out.

If you are already and Underwriter your donation will be added to your Pledge with no need to let us know about the change to your donating.

If you are new to being an Underwriter or returning after an absence please email us at info@chalcedon.edu and let us know you wish to be an Underwriter, all future donations will be viewed as part of your Underwriter Pledge.

I am a Silver/Gold Underwriter. How do I download the free MP3s?

Silver and Gold Underwriters can access free MP3s through our Store.

 

In the store, click on the MP3/CD link. You will see a list of MP3 Albums, which house all our MP3s, and CD Sets.

  

 

You can use the filter bar at the top to view more Albums on a page. Remember to click the Filter button.

  

 

As you scroll down you will see the different albums which contain all of our MP3s. Below you can see that we have two entries for Apologetics. One is for the MP3 album and one is for the CD set. You will want to click on title or the Click Here link of the MP3 album.

  

 

The MP3s for this album and their download links are located under the Track List tab.

  

 

You can then Right-Click on each title and choose Save, Save As or Save Link As to download your MP3. This should give you the opportunity to save the MP3 to your desired location on your computer.

  

 

Now that you MP3s are on your computer, you can listen to them from your computer or move them to the MP3 player of your choice.

How do I download the MP3s I purchased?

After you have purchased your MP3's you should see a link on your closing receipt. You will also be sent a receipt with a link to your downloads.

Or you can click on Store at the top to get back into our site.

From there you will be able to access your Account and Download Dashboard in several ways.

  

 

You will see a link once inside your Download Section. Please right click on the link and choose Save As.

   

 

For MP3 Albums you will need to click on the EXPAND link to view the contents of the ablum.

  

If you do not see your MP3s in your Download Section or are having trouble downloading your MP3s, please email us at orders@chalcedon.edu.
