Letter To The Editor
Dear Friends at Chalcedon:
We are the Fifth Grade Glass of Maranatha Christian Academy, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Throughout the year world history has been a part of our studies. We have, through studying the various countries of the world, learned of the blessings that come upon a nation when they recognize God as their King, and submit to His sovereign authority in every aspect of life — including government.
We have practiced keeping our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the different parts of the world, especially those in the Sudan, in our prayers. This was one of the many reasons that our recent study of Africa has been so close to our hearts. Even more so, the news of your upcoming mission to the nation of Zambia has sparked a great deal of joy and enthusiasm among us. Throughout the last week we have taken up a class donation to help support your efforts. We thank God that he has presented us with the opportunity, not only to learn about history, but to actually become a part of making history in his name.
Please know that along with our donation come many prayers. We pray that your efforts will be guided by God, and that Zambia will truly reap the blessings of being a nation under God's supreme authority. Thank you for all of your hard work, and for allowing us to be a part of your efforts. May God bless you in all that you do!
