Guilt by Association

We stand in certainty when we stand in terms of the Word of God. Our Lord Himself will put down “all authority and power” opposed to His reign.

An email notification for a saved Google search today sent me a link to a reference to “Chalcedon.” It is from Brainly.com, an AI-powered homework “help” platform that in 2020 boasted 15 million daily users. Note how they include Chalcedon in a multiple-choice question:

What hate organization was reborn in 1915?
                A. Chalcedon Foundation
                B. Nazi Party
                C. Aryan Brotherhood
                D. KKK

Though the correct answer was given as “D. KKK,” note the grouping into which we are placed. Do you think this is an accident?

For years, the Southern Poverty Law Center (always a leftist fundraising organization more than anything else) has categorized us as a “hate group.” Their stated reason was that my father wrote in The Institutes of Biblical Law, Vol. 1, that homosexuality in the Bible was a capital offense. (Interestingly enough, Chalcedon was not even the publisher of that book before 2020.)

My response to being on the SPLC list of hate groups is that, given their standard of what constitutes “hate,” it would be embarrassing to not make the list! Many people are scared away by that designation, however, though that only demonstrates why the Bible so strongly condemns lying lips, false witness, gossip, and backbiting. False witness, my father noted in the above-mentioned book, is a form of murder, as it destroys a person with lies and innuendo.

Such tactics are the weapons of Satan, not of the Kingdom of God. We stand in certainty when we stand in terms of the Word of God. Our Lord Himself will put down “all authority and power” opposed to His reign. To whatever extent we stand in terms of His Kingdom, we are on the winning side in time an eternity.
