New Year’s Resolution – Read Rushdoony
May 2022 be the year that you take those Rushdoony books which you have on your shelves that you have been meaning to read, and jump in and learn.
- Andrea G. Schwartz
You are invited to check out the Chalcedon Teacher Training Institute where you will find a number of R. J. Rushdoony’s books put into a course format. The courses involve: reading through a book chapter by chapter, listening to a relevant lecture or reading a relevant article, going through questions for thought and discussion, and exploring the opportunity to write a position paper and submit it for evaluation and positive criticism.
Currently, the following courses are live: Institutes of Biblical Law (Vol. 1), Revolt against Maturity, Law & Liberty, Cure of Souls, and In His Service. More are in the works, but have not been completed as of this writing. They are easy to access. Just subscribe (there is no charge to do so) and begin either as a self-study or with a small group.
Over the past 22 years, I’ve had the privilege of taking hundreds of women through the study of these books. Some have been one-on-one, while others have been in a group study (both in-person and online). In all truth, I learn as much from my students as they claim to learn from me.
