Promoting a Culture of Faith and Obedience

Homeschooling is much more than book learning from a Christian perspective and worldview. It is an opportunity to make God’s law-word the central means for families to pursue the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

I just completed a 10-part video series entitled, Does God’s Law Reign in Your Home? with my co-host Nancy Wilk as a part of our weekly “Homeschooling Help -Live on Facebook” meetings. The series serves as a resource for those contemplating Christian homeschooling, as well as for those well into this journey with their families.

I contend that the very reason those that hate Our Lord want to drive women away from the home and convince them that being a wife and mother is only something one does if one cannot do anything else, is precisely because they understand what is at stake. Destroy the family and you destroy the resistance to humanistic statism. More and more of our lives are encroached upon because those who call themselves Christians do not know how God’s law applies to every area of life and thought. What’s more, in many cases, they have lost a hunger and thirst for righteousness.

May this series serve to whet the appetites of home educators to become experts in the knowledge and application of the commandments of God. May it additionally serve as a stepping-stone for parents to dig deeper into understanding the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3).
