
The Power of Limits

Humanistic man hates limits, defying them at every opportunity. Limits are seen as oppressive, as restrictions imposed from elsewhere, that cramp modern man’s style and impede his potential. Just as rules were made to be broken, limits were made to be exceeded. A world without limits is the ostensible goal, where “everything is permissible.”
Even though it has been seventeen years since Rush went to his reward, there is a comfort in listening to his voice and hearing his unswerving commitment to the fact that the Christian faith is a faith for all of life.
