EC280: It used to be that we were regarded as the child of Knox in particular and also of Calvin.  We never hear anything about that anymore. And it indicates that there has been a revolution in our society in the past 50 years whereby we have remade our past history, recast it to eliminate the religious aspect and are striving to do more so now than ever.
