Does the Christian Faith Apply to All Areas of Life?

Some ask if the Christian faith applies to every area of life.  Well, if it doesn’t, that begs the question:  what will govern those areas that you assert Christianity does not apply?  Jesus, when he left his disciples and gave them the Great Commission, asserted that all power had been granted to Him everywhere (heaven and earth).  Jesus is the one to declare His rule to be over all.  That includes our thought life, the words we speak, the things we read, the way we make our living, and the solutions we apply to societal problems.
