What is Christian Reconstruction?
Christian reconstruction means firming up the foundation a godly social order with God’s law being the basis for what is right and what is wrong.
- Andrea G. Schwartz
Christian reconstruction is very much tied in to being Kingdom-driven. Simply put, God’s word– the Bible – gives us the blueprint for how our lives, our families, our churches, our communities, and ultimately the civil realm (cities, states, and nations) should be ordered. Earlier times in our nation’s history this was more evident. So, Christian reconstruction is a re-model project, if you will, firming up the foundation with God’s law being the basis for what is right and what is wrong. With the foundation in place, solid building can occur, all on the rock of Jesus Christ.
